Kilim(A flat-woven carpet or rug made in Turkey, Kurdistan, and neighboring areas) is very popular right now in home decor.  Pillows,rugs,benches,etc..You could purchase a kilim inspired rug at TJMaxx or Marshalls and then make your own bench cover or throw pillow for half the cost..They come in so many colors and patterns and are very durable textile.
